BHS 2008: Sustainable Hydrology for the 21st Century

by Hamish Harvey last modified 2007-11-30 12:42

The BHS National Hydrology Symposium is held every two years. This exciting event brings together hydrologists, water engineers and those working in related fields and is organised by the British Hydrological Society. Academics and practitioners from the UK and around the world gather to inform each other of the latest developments in hydrology - both in science and in industry, to discuss topical issues in hydrology, present their latest research, and debate over new hypotheses and technologies. Importantly the event provides an excellent opportunity for meeting others working in the field of hydrology and for networking.

This event is the 10th National BHS symposium and will be held in Exeter on September 15-17, 2008. The symposium will take the form of structured but informal technical meetings, with the opportunity to mix science and hydrological practice. Previous symposia have been enjoyable, friendly meetings with opportunities for developing long lasting relationships. This event promises to be no different and with the beautiful city and University of Exeter as a backdrop we expect a very well attended and vibrant conference.
