Conditions which may lead to Flood?ing. An Event? is, for example, the occurrence in Source terms of one or more Variable?s such as a particular wave height threshold being exceeded at the same time a specific sea level, or in Receptor terms a particular Flood? depth. When defining an Event? it can be important to define the spatial extent and the associated duration. Appendix 1 expands upon this definition.
